Bird Portraits.

I also want to include portraits of the falconers birds I plan to photograph them in a more structured lighting setup using a location studio setup. I will photograph the birds on a studio backdrop with location flash lighting I have already photographer birds of prey in this way and it worked really well. I plan to crete three diptychs with a portrait of the falconer with his or her bird and then a portrait of the bird itself. Here are a few images I found the ones that are photographed on a black background are by a photographer called Brad Wilson who has created an amazing selection of animal portraits in his studio. Although these portraits are fantastic they are a bit to post processes for me its just a personal preference they just look top photoshopped. The photos of the cockatoos are great they aren’t as heavily retouched and they have more character about them and the lighter coloured backdrop makes them look less formal and more almost passport like.
