This is my favourite photo from Oscar Marzaroli’s book waiting for the magic. It is a expertly composed image of a man and his two working sheepdogs. I couldn’t find the photo anywhere online so I had to take a photo of the page and copy it across. It has a beautiful stillness to it, there is no rush or movement in the image and the dull day helps to soften to light so that their are almost no discernible shadows. I think the black and white helps to keep this image calm and quiet. I am going to look into choosing specific colour tones for my portraits to add a feeling or effect to them.
