These images are part of a personal project from photographer Reuben Paris. I have just got the book and although they are not the greatest portraits they do show very clearly the importance of having your model happy and comfortable there dogs do not look confidant and the image ends up being a inaccurate representation of the animals personality. For my emergency service dogs I only had a few minuets with each dog and I struggled to get a strong portrait of each so for this project I plan to spend a lot more time with each animal in order to have them as clam and relaxed as possible.
